TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade opened in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
His background tells you something. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. But better than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.
The Software
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from the same login. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That should be a good addition when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. These are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. But the fact that they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and what you get is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not bother with Equinix connectivity. This does not replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
